When electronic prescribing becomes available, SVR will process prescription information (for example, patient, medication, prescriber and pharmacy details) on behalf of the prescribing Client in order to transmit prescriptions to the pharmacy selected for the patient, including through the Surescripts network. This information will be handled as Client Data and, where it is Protected Health Information, under a Business Associate Agreement and applicable law.
